CSIA Level IV, CSIA Level IV Course Conductor, Snow Park Course Conductor, CSCF Level 2 Development Coach, Level 1 CASI, Father and all around Renaissance man
Growing up in Toronto my love for skiing started when I was 13 and some friends and I went on a ski weekend at Horseshoe Valley in Ontario. I fell in love with the sport; I was hooked. I achieved my Level 1 and Level 2 CSIA a few years later. I spent the 1995/96 ski season at Panorama resort and worked for and trained with "The Bilodeau School of Skiing" (SOS). I closed out the 90's living the dream. My life was truly blessed when my daughter was born in January of 2000. Watching my daughter grow up skiing and being in the mountains everyday was an amazing dream come true. Successfully attaining my Level 4 CSIA added to the life we had built in Invermere BC. After 13 years at Panorama I took a position at Kicking Horse resort in Golden BC as the Snow School Director. For five years I embraced this position, drinking from the proverbial fire hose. Learning all I could about the business and giving back all I could in lieu. Returning back to Panorama resort and Invermere BC after my stint at KH was an easy decision, I was home again. And from there I was able to sink my teeth into the Course conducting world, travelling to Europe and Japan, teaching courses and making good skiers great is definitely one of my true passions. Being a Level 4 Course Conductor, I am privileged to train and teach with some of the best Ski Instructors in Canada. In my down time, I have been known to sneak away to chase waves and surf around the globe. And hope to continue to do so. My training and background help me to use a fun, practical and easy to understand tactical approach towards skier development. I look forward to skiing with you in the near future.
